N2  - Das Proyecto Humboldt bietet seit 2002 eine wachsende digitale Bibliothek zur Erforschung der europäischen Forschungsreisen auf die kanarischen Inseln zwischen 1700 und 1900. Die Bibliothek ist vom Open Access Gedanken geleitet und wendet sich an Forscher ebenso wie an die breite Öffentlichkeit. In diesem Text werden einige Resultate der Forschungsarbeit der letzten Jahre vorgestellt. Allgemeine Gedanken zu digitalen Bibliotheken und den zukünftigen Entwicklungen werden in einem weiteren Teil besprochen. Schließlich wird auf das besondere Verhältnis der Geisteswissenschaften zur computergestützten Arbeit eingegangen und die aktuelle Situation kritisiert.
N2  - The Proyecto Humboldt offers since 2002 a growing digital library for the investigation of the european scientific voyages to the Canary Islands between 1700 and 1900. The library is led by the Open Access spirit. Some results of the research work of the last years will be presented in this text. General comments on digital libraries and coming developments will be discussed in another part. Finally the special relationship of the humanities and computer-aided work will be looked at.
N2  - El Proyecto Humboldt ofrece desde 2002 una creciente biblioteca digital para la investigación de las expediciones europeas a las Islas Canarias entre 1700 y 1900. La idea de Open Access guia el trabajo de la biblioteca que se dirige a la comunidad cientifica tambien como al püblico. En este texto se presenta algunos de los resultados del trabajo cientifico de los ultimos años. A continuación se habla de ideas generales que se refieren a bibliotecas digitales y a desarrollos futuros en este campo. Al final se discute la relación dificil de las humanidades con el ordenador y se va a criticar la situación actual.
